The Promise of Easter

The Promise of Eternal Life

Trees grow back when cut down, why don’t people?

A person convinced against his or her will will keep the same opinion

Death appears to destroy.  But for us, death is a departure to be with God

The Promise of Relationship

Philippians 3:20-22 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body

Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

While much of the New Testament was written while there were eyewitnesses, they still did not understand the implications of it

The Promise of Victory

What does the resurrection mean for me? The simple answer: Believing changes your life

Friday- a day of suffering and grief> Saturday- a day of doubt and confusion> Sunday- a day of joy. We go through those three days over and over again

Not only do we die, but any memory of us dies too. Unless God raises us, it is as though we have never lived

No one can deny the power of the changed lives in people who have met Jesus. Resurrection is not only a future hope but a present reality

The Promise of New Life

What oxygen is for the lungs, such is hope for the meaning of human life

The final chapter of your life will not be written

“I tried Christianity but it didn’t work for me.” He can change any person who comes to him on his terms

There is something in each of us now that will never die! An eternal spirit that will live in eternity
